Reina Miyase (Currently known as Ui Sakura) was born on May 26, in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Her nickname was "Reinyan". As a former digital seiyuu idol in 22/7, Reina portrayed Ayaka Tachikawa via both voice acting and motion-capture physical acting.
Reina's image and penlight color was pink.[2]
Reina officially graduated from the group on May 25, 2023, although her activities with 22/7 officially ended on June 1, 2023.
Biography[]
Reina has an older sister.[3]
In elementary school Reina was in the shogi club, although she didn't really understand it back then. However, with the inspiration from shogi players Sōta Fujii and Hifumi Katō, Reina started playing shogi again in the summer of 2017.
Growing up, Reina always watched dramas and anime and became influenced to get on something media related and influence people.[4] She would also watch AKB48 and Nogizaka46 on TV and longed to sing and dance.[5] Because of this, Reina applied for the 22/7 auditions to become both a seiyuu and an idol.
Her career began on 24 December 2016 upon successfully passing 22/7 auditions and joining the unit.
On May 25, 2023, she graduated from 22/7. However she still has the goal of pursuing an actress career. Reina later resurfaced under the name Ui Sakura on June 17th, 2023 with her own fan club agency.
Goals[]
Beyond becoming a well-established seiyuu, Reina wanted to try acting in stage plays,[6] which she did accomplish as she plays the character Raimu Lucia Kishimoto in Assault Lily's stage play.[7]
Reina wishes to be able to perform at Tokyo Dome.[8]
Reina has also stated that since she started using social media, she wants to reach out to more fans through social media, get more support from them and for them to get to know her better.[4]

Reina's favorite character is My Melody from Sanrio.[5] Reina likes the idol character Misa from the anime Death Note. Reina would watch Detective Conan every week and liked the character Ai Haibara from it.
She likes playing shogi and once mentioned that she plays at least ten times a day.[9][10] She is aiming for a dan ranking.[5]
She loves eating sweets and ramen. During Anime Axpo 2018, she claimed that beef was her favorite food. Her favorite type of sushi is salmon.[11] She also likes tsubu, uni, and ikura. [12]
Reina enjoys handshakes and choreographing.
Reina knows how to play the piano.
She likes and collects hats, glasses and platform shoes.[5] Reina often makes handmade earrings.[13]
Quirks[]
Reina often says "Yay' or "Yay yay."
Reina has good eyesight. However, when she was little, she didn't like that and thought that playing games in the dark would make her eye sight worse so she could wear glasses, although it didn't work.[5]
She's skilled at typing and is the best in her class.[14]
Before voicing for her character, Reina planked to help train the inner muscles so her voice comes out better.[4]
Reina hates tomatoes.
Behind the scenes[]
Although she's from Fukuoka, which is known for its yatai ramen, she has never tried it.[15]
Reina's house was formerly close to Mei's, and the two would often walk home together while talking about idols.[16]
Alongside Mei and Sally, the three of them went to Anime Expo 2018 together.
On May 18, 2018, management granted her an individual official Twitter account and an official Instagram account.
Reina was in a LINE group with Mei and Nagomi.[16]
She appeared closest to Kanae.
At the end of December, 2018, Reina had ankle ligament damage and used crutches after a day the live took place. She didn't want to worry the fans so she didn't tell them in advance.
During Reina's last blog she revealed that her father had been in bad health during a live in Tokyo, which her parents had planned to come to. Her mother explained that he had 'urgent business' however Reina knew it was something deeper. After insisting on her mother telling the truth, it was revealed that Reina's father had collapsed due to a myocardial infraction. He was currently in lifesaving ICU, and she didn't know if he was alive or not during the concert.[17]
After Reina's graduation, she has continued to follow both the current and former 22/7 members on social media, and even still follows Ayaka's character designer QP:flapper.

Trivia[]
- Reina's favorite song to perform live was Junkan Bus because she thinks it's cute, likes the choreography and it's an 11 member song.[4] Reina also likes the song Bokura no Kankyou.
- Reina started crying when listening to Boku wa Sonzai Shiteinakatta for the first time.[16]
- Reina was the shortest member of the group in the original line up.[18]
- As she plays a character taller than herself, Reina had to adjust her hand positions while dancing with motion capture.[4]
- During the auditioning process for 22/7's lineup, Reina, Sally, Aina, and Urara were in the same audition group.
