Mao Asaoka was born on October 6, 2004, in Tokyo, Japan. Her nickname is Maosuke. As a digital seiyuu idol in 22/7, Mao portrays Touko Kiryu via both voice acting and motion-capture physical acting. She is one of the 8 "Nananiji Chapter 2" members that debuted on February 27, 2022.

Mao was a national-level fencing competitor before joining the group, and she had only thought about fencing before becoming an idol.
